 Reporting to the owner of the firm, Alexis will be responsible for the P&L of the company, building and managing the business team, business development, contract negotiations, and other functions typical to the "operating" functions of the business. Direct reports will include the directors of circulation and marketing, ad sales, bookkeeping, and other business development positions. Shes pleased and volunteered these comments:

 This is a small publishing company that is ready to move to the next level with expansion opportunities. The entrepreneurial spirit of the company, the size, and the growth plans were the main attractions. The current staff is young, energetic, and dedicated to their work, all aspects that I admire and that interest me.

 The environment is one of figuring out what needs to be done and then doing it - a plus in my estimation. The fact that I was unemployed was actually to my benefit since they wanted someone who could start working right away.
